This month’s product: IR Websites – The core of digital IR Communication

Every season, we focus on a specific product from our portfolio based on current market requirements. The product chosen for this season is the EQS IR Website. The IR Website is considered as the core of digital IR communication through which you maintain professional and lasting relationships with investors.

The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) in UAE has set several requirements for listed companies in relation to their website. Listed companies must provide an IR-Section and update it regularly in compliance with international standards. Publications such as Financial Reports and other mandatory data needs to be disclosed to the regulatory authorities, markets or the public and must contain on the IR-Website. Furthermore, it must contain complete contact details of the IR-Manager, detailed data of the company’s share price, a shareholding structure and dividend information.

Based on this framework, we reviewed all websites of listed companies in the UAE for their compliance with SCA-requirements. In our company analysis, we found that 80% of the listed companies currently provide an IR-Section on their website. Around 45% of these companies provide contact details of their IR-Manager. Our IR-Website rankings notes that most of the listed companies neither provide detailed information on the stock price (67%), a shareholding structure (73%) nor dividend information (59%). With our IR Website solution, we would like to support you in improving your current ranking and being compliant with SCA IR Website requirements.

EQS Group as a provider also develops appropriate tools to represent share data, charts, reporting requirements and fact sheets which are efficient, accurate and up to date. We would assist and guide you; right from the conception phase to the actual design which later involves programming. If you have any questions related to the EQS IR-Website Ranking and IR-Website solution, please contact Sascha Meier or check out our Website.
